Since 2017, nextReality.Hamburg e.V. has been hosting the yearly nextReality.Contest. Every year, we ask innovative pioneers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to submit novel ideas, sustainable products and creative projects from the fields of augmented reality, mixed reality and virtual reality. The rich variety of solutions is then judged by an independent, multidisciplinary jury.

The nextReality.Contest Award is among the most renowned awards of the industry and leading the way in the development of immersive media and technologies of the future in Germany.

Since 2022, we have removed the category “360°”, we are however added three new categories: “Interactive Education” and “Zeitgeist”!

With the category “International Production”, we are for now on looking for XR projects beyond the confines of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
